Sylvan Help

Hi Guys,

The unthinkable happened and the girlfriend has asked to come fishing with me :sHa_shakeshout: . My buddy and I are going to take her out tomorrow and we are thinking Sylvan because we'd like something new. Not really sure what to target, but I'd like to get her on the fish and we have never fished Sylvan before. Tips? Tricks? Are we good to drive on in a small SUV right now?

RR23 set up in 12-17 feet of water with tip ups and sit back and chat. You could go shallower 5-10for whites or jig a spoon in the deeper stuff for pike. Big smelts just off bottom for your tip ups is what I would try. Best of luck

Try the same techniques in the Norglenwold entrance area. Watch out for deeper snow drifts, stay in the well traveled paths and you should be OK.
