Gammarus Shrimp Ice Fishing Fly Tie

My Fly Fishing friend tied these Ice fishing hooks up for me ..the shrimp is todays hook.. he had a 4#plus Lake Whitefish on the Gold Stonefly the other day and missed .. so he tied these up for us on a double hook..i love the yellow Gammarus shrimp can't wait to try.. he will get his first Lake Whitefish next time

Wondering if the shrimp body is meant to be fished right side up (Same position as picture of the live shrimp) with the hooks pointed down while jigging? If the hooks are pointing up it looks like the shrimp is upsidedown.

Looks like a great hook. Great color for whitefish.
