Thats amazing. He's better with a slingshot than I am with a pistol!

This guy is good too, with one little oversight. OUCH!! Other than that, slingshots can be very accurate.

Rufus is dead now but his legacy carries on.
There are guys today who can light matches at 10 meters with a slingshot or cut a playing card in two today. And its done on U-Tube for all to see. Sorry i have no idea how to put it up as a reference here.
A acquaintance of mine holds the Guinness book of records for the most pop cans shot at 10 meters in a minute. He can hit 14. And it has to fall off the shelf so if you hit it and it doesnt fall it doesnt count as a hit for the record. He has done 18 just goofing around when not under stress.
There are large world wide forums on this subject.
Ive been shooting a number of years now. I can usually hit a 2" target at 10 meters ,i usually get 8 outa ten hits. I usually shoot 10 mil steel or 15 mm marbles for accuracy and just rocks or .117 bb's for plinking. 10 meters is the acceptable distance for competitions world wide though many can be quite accurate at longer distances. Some convert there slingers to shoot arrows as well.
More info than most of you will want im sure.

Great post. My old man never let us get one when we were younger because it was "too dangerous". Yet hunting was okay, driving the tractor and an old Oliver bulldozer, cutting cords of wood, stacking hay and moving cattle with our horses was fine to do on our own.
