Ended up with a small tear in the tent today from the wind gusts...... Anyone know of an outfit in the edmonton area that could repair/sew it up for me?

I think Campers Village on the north west end still does repairs. (Northwest Tent and Awing changed there name to the parent company Norsman I believe.)

I have made numerous repairs to canvas tents in the past.
Right from the kind lady at campers village. You get some canvas (which c village sold me a piece) and make 2 patches one for outside, one for inside and you simply glue the pieces with latex glue (also available @ c village)

Originally I wanted to sew them on but the kind lady said "dear, you want to fix a hole in your tent by putting a patch and sewing it on making a bunch of little holes to fix the big hole"? Glue it she said. I did and several patches are still holding on years later.

Patch it. Canvas on both sides and use speed sew. Have some on an old tent going on 10 years now.

Buy a yard of canvas and a thing of glue from campers and fix everything! I've fixed canvas on my tent trailer, ice fishing tent and carhartts too! Great stuff.

Eskimo sells patch kits. You can get them at the fishin hole.

I've taken my tent into totem outfitters in the rental/repair shop. If you take it there, talk to Matty before taking in. There's a young girl there that won't fix them, I think they're too big and she's scared to. He fixed my Fatfish 9416.
