Recently had lunch at the clubhouse on the Plantation Course in Maui, overlooking the 18th hole. Looks a bit different than on TV, with the green surrounded by bleachers.
Had the fortune (misfortune) of watching a guy pull a Tiger....chipped 3 times from 30 yd. off the green ! :D

Great spot. When I was there I went into the locker room for a look see. Some great pics on the walls.

Played this course in 2012. Shot 82 from the back tees!

I lipped out for eagle on 18 hitting from the pro tee (663 yards) easy tap in bird!

Yep, Paiute Snow is amazing. You'll have fun. Try and hit TPC Vegas for the best golf around.

Kale M, that's a great round. Is the course average? Did you have a good round? You around a 8 handicap? I'm just trying to get perspective as I love golf but have never golfed a pro course. Use to be a 8-10 but now having kids and less $$ to golf, I probably dropped to about a 13.

i played dessert willow about 7 years ago. by far one the nicest courses i have played. it was 42C that afternoon but it was still fun.

I love how the have the rakes for the sand taps hidden in the ground

You should try and go to Makenna Golf and Country Club down in Waillea Great course and awesome views. Shot and 81. Not a real difficult course but well worth the views.

Played the whites, we were going to do the blues but first time playing the starter recommended whites to enjoy the round. Fell apart on the front :sign0176: but was +1 on the back so that made for a great day!

Played Classic Club in Palm Desert today, 97 F, very little wind, great track, next time the driver will stay in the bag, found tooooo many bunkers! I'm thinkin this track is as good or better than Desert Willow! Heading back to Sylvan Lake in another week ..... hope the local courses are open soon.

BAD NEWS, retten !! There's a sand mite infection in Maui now and all the courses are closed as they attack the greens and are very contagious !! :D

After 3 months of hiding from winter, played my last P.S. area course today, it's time to go back home. La Quinta Dunes, was just ok, next time will try their Mountain course, looks much more challenging. Noticed most courses here have significantly lowered their green fee's this week, rates are 30-40% less, most likely due to the departure of the Cdn's. Plan on returning next year, will miss the Palm & Citrus tree's outside the condo.
