Glad he got fined/banned from fishing but I do not agree with lowering the fine just because he is on social assistance....what a bloody joke.

This guy is a discraceful piece of garbage, and that is being nice. I wish he was put in jail for a while. The fine and the fishing ban is a good deal as far as I am concerned. I think he got off lucky, but I am also grateful he got caught and received some punishment.

I remember watching the video a while back and how outraged I was at his actions as well as his comments to the two great guys that confronted him. They are heroes in my opinion. This childish disrespectful individual should be banned from fishing for more than 2 years. He is obviously an angry person and his comments in the video show how unintelligent and childish he is.

Since he's on social assistance they probably did that to make it somewhat manageable. If it seems like too much/out of reach for him he may opt to take his chances and not pay.

Something is better than nothing?

At any rate, I'm glad they convicted him...we don't see enough of that as far as I'm concerned.
