Alberta-style ice fishing

Hi guys, I recently moved from the Okanagan in BC to Calgary

I have been wanting to go out ice fishing here for a while now and i see that many of you guys do so as a winter passtime.
I recently went out in BC and caught some nice trout, using the slip bobber/ glowhook method,

I was wondering what type of setups you use out here for Trout, whitefish,Pike ,Walleye, Burbot and Perch.

Rod size/type, line weight, mono or braided, hook size , bait that type of thing.

And if anyone in the Calgary area is going to be going out, and could use some company and gas money, I will be available whenever.
I would love to get out there but i need a little help and a push in the right direction.:)
