Spent about 6 hours on Long Lake today with no success . Had a couple flags up but never managed to land anything. I did not see anything down the whole today. I tried a few spots where I always catch perch but didn't even have a nibble. I broke trail all over the lake with my 4X4 with ease. The ice is about 10" - 12" thick with about 8" of snow cover. The water towards the narrows was a bit cloudy but the rest of the lake was crystal clear and I could see my hook down the about 12ft. The weather was great except the fish must have known I was coming and took the day off. :lol:
