Fawcett Lake Report, Dec 27 08

Got to fawcett in the early am.

12-14 inches of ice, drove on no problem, same with lots of others.

Need a 4x4 to drive on, lots of snow on the lake.

Fishing was o.k., landed lots of walleye, perch. and pike. We also managed a ling.

No keeper walleyes couldnt find any over 50cm, but lots under of course. Highlight of the day is when this pig hit my jighead and minnow. Taped right at 13inches. My personal best.

sweet!!! CAN.T WAIT TO GET OUT, ANY MORE KEEPER PERCH? BEEN SOME GOOD LUCK OUT AT PIGEON, MIGHT TRY THAT THURS OR FRI CLOSE TO HOME TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. GOING TO GET ALL MY STUFF IN ORDER THIS WEEK, STILL IN HUNTING MODE, NEW RIFLE AND ALL. STILL LOOKING FOR A SCOPE!!! (VX-L 2.5X10X50)

yah we caught about 6 more keeper perch between the three of us.

A little slow.


Tuesday or friday would be the best for me.
