Goldeye and Fish Lake by Nordegg

Just wondering if anyone has fished hardwater in these lakes yet this year. I was wondering what the ice depth was and if guys have been driving on. Planning on heading out next weekend to try out the new jiffy. Any tips would be appreciated..

Why would you possibly want to drive on at Goldeye it's tiny? I haven't been out this year yet but I assume they're both over a foot. Actually I know they are.

I plug my fish camera into the truck's auxilary power and it lasts 10X as long as the normal battery does. That is why I choose to drive on.

In that case I still wouldn't recommend it, Goldeye and Shunda are both full of springs.
