Looking for open water

[Clueless]

Have managed to squeeze a rare day off tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had an idea for some open water casting.
Some where in southern Alberta and cast from shore.
Was thinking Henderson lake in Lethbridge.
Does anyone have a better idea where to find some open water casting from shore?:sign0176:

Henderson was almost ice free yesterday, very dirty looking. PCR has a bunch of open water by the bridge, more than enough to keep a guy busy casting.

Should be lots of room on Keho, not much ice left.

I will be going for a drive to check for open water and plan on launching my boat to chase eyes for the final day of the season. I have heard about a bunch of open water but want to go see it for myself before i fully believe it.

Never fished Keho but I would think by the canal coming from the west end, maybe someone else can give you a better idea of shore fishing than I can, just know there is lots of open water.

The bridge is Hwy #527 there is a parking area on both sides, likely get into a few eyes and maybe a pike. c/r for eyes. plenty of open water.
