Just spent a great evening out here, enjoyed some long awaited peace and quiet, and brought back some walleye fillets for supper tmrw.

Looking forward to fishing this weekend :)

Spent another enjoyable evening out at the shack, this time had a bunch of people join me - wifey and kids, mom and dad. Wasn't so much peace and quiet this time but really fun. We did really well, the walleye were biting pretty consistent.

My dad had the best luck of all of us, he landed two really nice walleye in the 4 lb range.

That is a beauty shack, the flag pole makes it spectacular. I would keep a jolly roger and a bottle of rum on hand... drinking rum before noon makes you a pirate not a drunk you know, but only with the appropriate flag.
