It may be a long shot but I was wondering if any one knew what condition the lease roads around Red Earth Creek are like? Planned a late ice fishing trip and this warm weather may ruin our access.

Mud, mud and more mud.

It's sticky.

We are planning on Gods Lake by Peerless. Would a motorhome make it through those lease roads?

Yikes!! That mud around there is the stickiest mud around. It wouldn't be my first choice to take an RV through right now unless it's one of the really well maintained roads that Pengrowth or Baytex own.

The roads are getting pretty chewed up. They stiffen up at night with the frost but it would be pretty hard on a motor home

I don't think there is any gravel last few miles into Gods

I just got back from a job out there. The roads are really soft and gummy on te shoulders, but the middle of the road is fine and hard packed. There's are some muddy and some icy spots, but it's nothing too major.

I would not go to gods in an RV unless it was dry.

We were up in that area over the weekend icefishing Utikama lake. What a slop fest it was getting into the lake with the south road! Slid all over in the mud with a 4 by 4 pickup. The shorter north road was much better though.

Fishing was great. Caught more pike in the 6-8 lb range then we could count. Only 2 walleye though but luckily they were 51 and 55 cm keepers. Would recommend this lake to anyone who wants to catch a lot of pike. Have never had icefishing like that for Pike. We do pretty good on Wab and Wab had nothing on this lake when it came to qty.
