Slave Lake acess

We where out at canyon creek last sat (march 14) and we had to walk out. there where big ruts close to shore and some of the ice was really rotten. I would not drive out there. I would not want to be one of the guys that still had there shacks out there.

Went to narrows yesterday. Access with ATVS and SxS was good. Wouldn't take a truck out. Still over 24" of ice

Thanks for the info, I used the quad but if it stays cold I think it will be possible to drive on again at some places at least.

Was out at Canyon Wednesday 18th . drove out to the stranded shacks and caught 10 walley kept our limit 4
First hole the auger wasn" t long enough and barely got 8 cut with the engine almost touching.
Faust was open just off shore where the ice had a 20ft split with floating chunks that almost got me.
Assinau was too soft for the truck but there was one out there.
