Gull lake ice report

How's vehicle access on different parts of gull? Still safe for a truck tomorrow?

Lots of ice.

Went on at Brownlows today. Shore is a bit sketchy but lots of ice out there.

I drove on again today, its ugly on the shores but good ice on the lake, the cooler weather should keep it good for a few more days

Once you get past the brownlows entrance which has rutted up quite abit. the ice is still super thick and solid-although has signs that it's changing abit. ( holes look abit different) atleast 10-20 trucks seen on the ice.

Heard that a SUV and Toyota tacoma went through the ice trying to cross a ice heave, suv went in , truck tried to pull him out and they both went through.

Was this on the south side? we were at the point near brownlows and fished near a Toyota Tacoma who drove into that bay mid day.

went on and off from westlake rd, no problem. lots of new snow and from the highway i could see some patches of flood water. the ice is good and that access is also. there were other vehicles out also. that'll change quick. some soft ice out there.using caution and your better judgement you should be fine. there is good access.

Was hoping to make one last trip to Gull, wont drive on any ice reports?

Another truck has gone through the ice at parkland beach, another reminder to keep from driving over the pressure heaves.

If you have a 4x4 you should be ok. The access melted real quick today. I bounce my way off the lake. :-) Tomorrow afternoon might be a different story. I'll be walking out at Brownlows tomorrow if I go. Snow from yesterday is all water now. Starting to get sketchy at shore. Stay safe. :-)
