The lemons weren't bad. The bull took awhile. We chased him around on the boat for awhile. A crab fisherman took the bull meat scraps and we gave the meat away.

Nice to hear it was put to use.
I'd like to try shark fishing one day.

I only kept the one. We had shark all around the boat. I would recommend it. The only part of the bull I killed that wasn't used was his fins. I forgot I caught a tarpon as well

From what I heard it wasn't very good. We had no facilities to cook it up either.

Went salmon shark fishing in Alaska a few years back. Caught 2 sharks and we each took home about 50 1lb packs of shark meat. Before cooking we soaked the shark meat in milk, battered and deep fried. It was quite good. Kind of like a marlin fillet.

It was cool to get one. I was just looking for shark but my guide wanted to get after a tarpon too. I was glad he did. Cool fish. Crazy how they jump.

I go to marathon once or twice a year and have caught sharks and tarpon, but if you ever get a chance to go make sure your guide can throw in a chance at goliath grouper. Last spring I got one about #350+ and the raw power these fish have is incredible, nothing I've caught can compare.

I would have loved to get at a Goliath grouper. I caught a few small grouper but nothing big. It is a trip I would recommend for sure CK
