My first knife was a swiss army, perfect first knife for any young outdoorsmen. I have this one sitting here, brand new. I would like for it to go to a younger boy/girl who loves the outdoors and will use it to make great memories.
PM me if you have a candidate

My first knife was a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife (similar to the one in the photo), given to me by my Grandfather. And yes, I still have it! :)

Great gesture, Troutbug ... Kudos to you! :happy0034:

Very nice and kind gesture. I'd take you up on it for my 12 year old, but I just bought him an all-purpose hunting/fishing knife last week. Yours will go to some other lucky child who needs it more than mine.

Mac

Hes the 9 year old son of a member here. His dad sent me a great picture of his boy with a grouse to! I also threw in a *animal tracks of Alberta* book as it sounds like he will put it to use

We should pool the stuff we all have and don't need, and forward it to some young one who needs it and doesn't have it.
If ire all, This happened a while ago for mudbugs offspring.

Very nice of you. Congrats.
I still remember my grandfather, teaching me to make whistles out of a popler
Branch, almost 50 years ago.
