North alberta fly in lakes

Wondering if anyone has any information about flying into Margaret/wentzel/Thurston lake. Looking to plan a trip this year and looking to see if anyone has tips on what to expect and what gear to bring

Someone I know has been, he used heavy baitcasting gear with 40-60lb braid. Big Len thompsons is what he swore by, but big rapalas and swimbaits would be fine too. He was after large pike mostly so steel leaders were a must.
