Kakisa River Grayling

Is April 24-28 too early for the grayling run up north? best flies to use?

The way thus spring if going, you might have to bring an auger.

All depends on the spring.. I went up mid April years ago and it was beauty! My buddy went up same time last year and it was still froze. It was a warmer winter than last year so might be ok

Also thinking of going there to catch a grayling for the first time how long are they in the river for?

they are in there for a couple weeks after the ice goes
