I'm looking for an outboard service center in Calgary. I have a 1989 25 HP Mariner 2 stroke that's not quite right. Any suggestions?

As a matter of fact I do, I just got my 1994 25HP Johnson serviced at auto marine specialists, on 1st just off Macleod tr.

I forget the guys name but he is awesome to deal with, very fair in his prices and does a great job. I'll definitely be going back for all my service needs.

X3 Bought my Yamaha kicker there and have always serviced it at Auto as well.

Very reliable and will not overcharge you like some others.

Homestead marine is the best in the city.....talk to Scott there. I wouldnt trust my motor anywhere else..Great service and great price

I am wanting to bump this thread as it's a few years old. I have a new to me mercury 8hp 2 stroke and wondering a good place to get it serviced in Calgary. Looking for feedback on somewhere with good honest service and fair prices. Maybe the suggestions above are still good or there are new places now. I'm open to PM's on outboard mechanics who work for cash also. Thanks guys.

B&L Marine if you want it fixed right the first time. A lot of people do not get along with Bob he is cranky but he knows Merc inside and out and will not over charge. he is in SE Calgary just off Glenmore.

B&L for sure... .I had a new to me '86 9hp mercy that I trashed the bottom end on a shoal and I had a hell of a time finding some one to fix it as a few of the places said they wouldn't even touch it as it was too old, it was an expensive fix but still cheaper then buying a new one or a used one for that matter....!

B and L is a joke. The guy is a horses rear. Charged me $260.00 to change the oil on my 9.9. At Homestead $95.00. I hope his extra profit was worth all the bad advertising he got from me.
