Check out this unreal underwater footage I shot today. Rigged up my GoPro and turned out better than I expected! These rainbows are insane! I will have to test and tune my camera rig and try the new GoPro on it as well to see what else I can get. I was using a Thomas Buoyant in Red and Gold. These rainbows seems pretty aggressive. I think it was pretty neat when the second one swims right against the line infront of the spoon, now I can see why they get snagged and hooked in the side or tail. This is even better than ice fishing. Can't wait to put some more time on the water.

That is awesome! How did you get the camera to stabilize and stay right side up on your line?

I haven't seen your videos in awhile, and now I think "what am I thinking?" That's so amazing it's sick! You're definitely a credit to the fishing world...and out of the fishing shows out there, yours would be among very few that I would actually watch :-)

Haha, thanks... well you better catch up then. I think I did some pretty neat underwater ones this last ice season as well, pike, rainbows and walleye. You may want to check those out.

Well I just rigged something up and attached it to the 25 pound test line on one of my ocean spinning rods. Then I used a 10 pound piece tied to the spoon. Now it worked so well and I've thought of a system that I may want to develop it for sales. Although I'm not super motivated so I may just come out and show you how later this summer after I create some more videos with it first.

Yeah I built something like that for my downrigger that's how I got the underwater stuff last summer. I didn't put a keel weight on mine though cause o fasten it to the downrigger cable. Those troll pros are mostly used for large game fish. I think they would spook trout and you can't put that on a lighter rod. Also fighting a small fish with that thing would not work.

I hope you make more of these. It's really cool seeing how the fish react.
