The best and most fun in Akumal is you can snorkel right off the beach and swim face to face with the sea turtles and swim along with Barry the barracuda. Favorite beach destination for us.:sHa_shakeshout:

Was there for two weeks and stayed at akumal bay beach resort, it was by far the best fishing, snorkling, R and R vacation we have had to date and recommend it to anyone. Two weeks for two was about 4500 bucks all said and done. Bring your own snorkling gear and fishing gear, walk around the shore away from the resort in the early mornings and you will catch lots of fish.:sHa_shakeshout:

Cap Ricks is awesome fishin.
We were out there last July and I hooked myself up to a pretty good size bull :shark:. Couple of the other guys snaked in some Cuda and had one Bluefin along the ride but the big boy was definitely the highlight. We ended up having one of the crewmates carve him up right on the pier and we had him barbecued at the little restaurant in the market, pretty good eats
