Well I went down near caroline for a drive and took my rod just incase. Everything is crystal clear in all streams in the area and a great day. Managed to get 3 bulls on the day and saw a monster in the 25+ inch range. Here's my only picture of the day: 18" Bull Trout

I didn't get a chance to tell this story last fall but here it, I decided to get a few casts in before the sunset, I made a cast across the river to a submerged pine tree in a deep pocket and BANG fish on! Jumps out of the water and I can tell its a 12-15" brown trout. I start bring it in across the current a bit went all of a sudden it just stops, CRAP! My line must have snagged a sunken log or the fish wrapped around something. I give a bigger pull...It moves...I notice my line moving closer to shore at a slow pace, at this point its shallow enough I should see something?!?! Then I notice my brown trout sideways, Dang! got wrapped up in the line and the current was making things difficult...WAIT! Theres a huge Bull Trout latched on the brown!!! WTF!!! what do I do there are no hooks in the Bull, he's just latched on and won't let go! I slowly get them both into the shallows and as they come in the bull lets go! NO! I let my rod tip down in disappointment, while in the process the brown drifts downstream 2-3 feet and BANG the bull hits it hard again! This time I get them within 2-3 feet of myself and slowly reach down and tail the bull trout! I'm shaking in excitement but this has taken around 7-10 mins and the Bull is tired I quickly lay them both down for a quit cell phone picture and measurement. I get the bull trout back in the water and hold it until it left under it own power, amazing fish that taped in at 27" and in the 6 pound range I'm sure. The Brown trout was unfortunately to damaged to be put back.

Heres the Pictures: The brown was 13"

Very nice story and photos! I've always wanted to have that happen to me.
I've seen a few flashes of big fish as I'm reeling in my catch over the years but that would be sweet!
Nice catch(es)!
