Any body know the ice conditions. I know its a small lake so she should be frozen pretty good. Any reports would be good. Thanks in advance

I am sure it will be good. The lake is tiny and my family was out there on boxing day.

I grew up on a farm miles from Dillberry and it has always been good. My brother was out the other day and caught over 20 Perch in the 8 - 10" range. Rainbows are biting good average size around 2lbs. You can drive on the lake no problem.

Sorry I didn't get back to you quicker. I am not positive on how they did. If it ends up being too snowy to drive, you can always walk. It is a TINY lake so it will not be that far!

The rainbows are good to eat but the perch there used to have worms. I am not sure if they do anymore but might be worth cutting one open to check before keeping any.

I grew up on a farm about 10 miles from Dillberry as well and although I have not checked the perch the last few years they used to have small white slugs in them just under the skin on both sides of the spine.

I never knew that. Good to know though. I was last there about 15 years ago fishing as I too lived about 10 miles from there.
