Picked up the new boat today and got to take it out on her maiden voyage. Ran great and had lots of time to break her in for the season opener tomorrow . Have some walleye tags that need to be filled.

Looks great. I have the same boat and love it. What size motor did you put on it?

If you want a decent travel tarp, Princess Auto has one for under $100 and a motor cover for $15. I am on the third season with mine and it is so nice to just throw the gear in and go.

Sweet! Perfect fishing machine! First thing to get is a travel tarp. Expect to pay 400-600 for a good one. I didn't bother for the first few years with mine and I completely regret it.

You will have a great time with your new machine! I bought mine last year and must say it was the best money I ever spent!

I put the 30hp merc on it, it ran good and I gunned it so see what it could do and I got 45kph on pretty choppy water today. The dealer threw in a free tarp with the boat but I never took it out of the box yet to see what kind it is. I'm think it's probably a lund tarp .

Now that's what a fishin' boat is suppose to look like. None of all that look at me crap dangling off of it.

What is that supposed to mean So if I have a downrigger it is crap hanging off the boat, or how about a bow motor, or a fish finder is all of that what you would consider crap.

Maybe I should just gut my boat that I saved up to buy so there are no seats just a bucket to sit on, Would that be more to your liking

I've been looking for a nice basic unit like that as a starter rig. Do you mind if I ask what a ballpark $$$ figure is for that kinda set-up?

Thanks in advance...looks awesome!

Eww you need to wet a line, I like buckets, pee in them, bail with them and bring your fish home in'em. Enjoy the long wk-end:):)

Nice! Good call opting for the removable vinyl floor. I have the same color, I think it's called Resale Red :thinking-006:

Enjoy the new boat, can't go wrong with a Lund.

It's a SSV 16ft with a 30hp Mercury , even though it's a tinner they still are still a pretty penny haha. I'm sure if you looked around you could find a better deal. It was $11,550 out the door but it has a few little extras that started to add up. A guy could save a few hundred on a basic trailer for a $1000 but I opted for the galvanized with side bunks, spare tire and bracket and a transom saver for $1450. Drop in floor was $500

Great looking and functional boat, I have spent many hours in that exact set up. Can't beat it for ease of use and reliability. Years of enjoyment and plenty of fish to come!

That's a great looking boat - good choice on the trailer, flat floor and bigger motor all three of those options you will be happy you paid for.
