I haven't had time to search the stocking reports, but if I had to choose which pond to fish without knowing it would be Cardiff. Cardiff has a much better winter survival rate then hermitage (which I imagine is almost nil).

yeah i heard through the grapevine that Cardiff had winterkilled too though

The other day i was at cardiff and caught a few little ones. A guy near me was catching small ones as well.

I been nailin fish at hermitage on small black leaches the ones with some sparkle to em work better and a copper copper john with white striped legs but the fish only seem to really turn on after 830 at night before that you get the odd bite after that a fish nearly every cast ..halfway around the bend sw of the dock ...get on em as theres a few people i see nearly every day with a stringer of 6 to 8 inch trout

Oh and my gf uses a worm and bobber ...1 foot down ...good results
