So I got to captain the boat yesterday and put these young lads on a few walleye. Largest one was 78cm a real beauty. Cold north wind was blowing slightly. Tried everything but had best success using Northlands minnow forage silver jigging spoon but actually cast them with a slow retrieval. 3-6 feet of water and bam we found what they liked. Caught over twenty with a few gators in the mix. The water was really murky so the silver spoon was the trick.

Nice eyes for sure, very dark color to them as well. Pays off to be persistent and try a bunch of options until you find what they want!

Congrats on some beauties. Wish I lived closer to Cold, as it is a great lake to fish, and you never know when you might hook up with a monster.
