Where is some good places for some early season walleyes, that a person can actually keep here in Alberta? Want to take the kids out fishing. Live in central Alberta. Was thinking maybe the Chin Reservoir, Not sure what they have for camping facilities there. Or maybe calling lake. Going out between this weekend and the 15 th of June sometime.
Thanks In Advance.

Waleye usually doesn't open until June 1st in most alberta, and calling lake is 1 between 45 and 55 cm per person

They spawn from April to end of may, so fishing for them is illegal during that time for any reason any where, even if you plan on catch and release

Have you ever read the Alberta fishing regs?

I'm wondering if there may be two different sets of Alberta fishing regulations? The one this fellow read and the one everyone else reads...it seems as if he is confident about these "new regulations":scared0018:
