Peace river fishing

Hey guys.....wondering if anyone can give me some info on some good lakes in the peace river area. I am up here for work and I do not know the area that well.

If your in the town of peace river, not a Great Lake area, head to snipe at valley view, winagami by mclennen, joker, haig, and sawn over towards red earth. Other than that there is the peace itself and a few pothole trout lakes.

Approx 1 hr to winigami, 1.5 hrs to haig, joker, sturgeon, and snipe, 2.5 hrs to lesser slave and utikama from peace River. Depending on your definition of "good" slave is probably your best bet... As moose said, the peace is also an option

Yup. Right behind the mall. Pic rig and minnows. Even better is bacon to catch a chubb and than uses prices of it.
