Has anyone been in there yet this spring? Wondering how the road is and how the fishing is?

I went there last Aug. I wish I took the camping gear. Stalls had free fire wood last year.
Did pull my 20 ft boat in . nice gravel ride in. may be 1/2 hr
I was the only boat on the lake and seen no one all day on shore
Had 2 down riggers going all day ,lakers were coming up to the hook all day then back down. caught none To bad you can not use bait. Water crystal clear. The mountain beside the lake goes right into the lake and you can look down and follow the edge as it goes down.
I see they advertise Rock Lake now on wild TV ..they have cabins now .
We did catch one small pike.
Most lakers we seen was right down the middle of the lake.
Much easier catching lakers at cold lake ,but the trip is worth it just for the view.

I returned last week from there. All campsites were empty, firewood was available. Fishing was very slow but it was my first time going for lakers. The road in was quite rough with lots of washboard. I left early because of too much bear activity. The last night someone drove by and warned me about the grizzly they just chased away from the equestrian campsite.

What's it like? I've seen it advertised as well and looked at their website however their website doesn't provide a lot of information.
