First sturgeon!!

Well after 35 or so hours of searching and fishing the nsr I've finally landed my first and p.b fish. He jumped out of the water first minute being caught teasing me a bit!! To my surprise he was bigger than I first initially thought.
But after a few hard runs he really did show his power, wow That's all I can say.
Enjoy the pics. Thanks to my fishing buds for putting in good hours with me, as well as met some good guys on the river.
He was 56 inches 40-45 lbs estimated from charts

I've actually missed out on the story abit. Ha
So another good guy Johnny boy was coming onto shore docking with his friend mike who I also gotta meet. I decided to go say hi leaving my rod unattended ( without a bell,,) when I get 3/4 of the way over Mitchthe fisher yells Kevin your rod. My rod was literally bouncing off the ground on my bush stick in the air balancing. I booked it for the rod sinking in the mud almost tripping onto my face. First thought was if that rod goes into the mud ill dive at a 45 straight into the water, "which now that I think of it I would of been water skiiing behind a fish haha" but anyways I got there in time and grabbed the hook to set it.
So heads up atleast have a bell if not just stay super close to your rod!
