Made it onto Lac La Biche for the first time this season. The ice is weak in certain parts of the lake but there was a good 15 inches where we were. The Perch were biting good, the biggest one being around 12 inches. Highlight of the day was the sunshine and the 15 pound pike I got on my Perch rod with 2 pound line. I still can't believe I got him in...especially after I missed him when he came up the first time!
