Ice fishing with cars

Hello does anyone have any ideas where a guy can get to the ice with a car. We made it out to eagle lake this weekend but it was heavy. We also fell through the first layer of ice and was stuck in about 5 inches of water. We had one tip up go up but missed the fish. felt like a fighter. Please give me any tipe to where a guy might go for good fishing with a car. Once we are one the ice we are fine it is finding spots to get to the ice. Thanks Travis

Pick any lake in central alberta right now, and you can go. I've been on Pigeon, Gull, and Battle lake so far this year with my car. Just stay on the beaten path and watch for snow drifts...

The wind pushed all the snow into huge drifts on sunday. So i doubt u will be able to drive on.
