Has anyone ventured up there yet this year? Specifically, what kind of shape is the trail where the beaver pond at the trail head was/is?

I'm supposed to be headed there this weekend. I am also curious about trail conditions.

I have not been there myself but talked to a friend who has been. According to him there is now a good trail from the tower to the lake. This new trail has timbers laid accross the bad spots. He told me you can run in with a quad and boat in about 15 minutes.
