Kids fishing

Going camping in southern Alberta this summer and was wondering where some good spots are to take kids fishing around the cardston area. Not really looking for keepers but where kids will catch lots and release.

Pine Coulee near Stavely is your best bet. Bait a hook with a minnow and throw on a slip bobber and you can have 50+ walleye days from shore.

Check out Payne (Mami) lake. Stocked heavily annually with rainbow trout. Nice spot to take the kids and not far out of Cardston.
