I saw the website but still doesn't say what they are... they have a board, and listings for tournaments but not getting what they are, or the benefits.

Not sure what more can be said. It's a set of fishing tournaments in Western Canada, targeting walleye, where points carry over (and are accumulated) based on a number of events. The exact same thing as any fishing tournament circuit really.

Generally, it's open to teams who would like to compete at one or more of the tournaments.

It's not like you could make a living from the prize winning - but there are some awards and decent prizes.

Actually prize money is getting quite high. Winning a couple of the northern tournaments could net you about 50K or more. The Anglers Cup this weekend is 50K first prize, plus what ever day money or big fish money you may win. I believe the Vanity in Sk. is now 100k for first place and has been for a couple of years.

Can anyone tell me how these tournaments work? I looked at the results for Pinehurst and am wondering how many fish can a team/individual weigh in a day and for the tournament etc? Trying to figure out how many fish made up those weights?

Your allowed 4 fish per day/per boat. Hope that helps...
