Athabascan Lakes report (no photos)

I've been doing field research in Athabasca and have had the chance to look at and fly fish (from shore) a couple lakes in the area in my spare time. I hope this helps you people trying to decide where to go.
- Lawrence is in good shape. - didn't fish.
- Ghost is pretty weedy from shore. - didn't fish.
- water quality in island is in great shape. - 6 small pike.
- baptiste algae is awful. - no fish caught.

I was out at Island Lake last Saturday and it was non stop but nothing big was caught. The water was pretty clear.

Cross lake will be unfishable in a few weeks, last Sunday it was starting to get bad for algae.
