OK I have just moved from Slave Lake and miss fishing my Utikuma. Can anyone offer me some info on how Utik is fishing this winter? 2 springs ago I drove to the lease at KM 88 and witnessed the smell of winterkill and had never seen so many ravens and eagles in one spot.

Last winter to my surprise we did catch some walleye but never how it use to fish. After fishing this lake for 8 years someone please tell me they have had phenominal success this winter as in past winters.

not worth going water on ice in places and if you want to venture out bring a friend or two with jacked up trucks cause the snow is DEEP average 2 and a half feet to 3' bloody nuts few jacks bit with a couple small eyes not worth the drive such a disappointing day. Top it all off guys were getting ready to put a net out.

That is what I heard about the access out there as well.
