Mcleod river by whitecourt

Has anyone fished the mcleod river just north of the YELLOWHEAD on highway 32 by Peers AB on the way to white court

My question is are there any trout or grayling in this section of the mcleod or are they further north by swan hills?

I fly fish mainly so looking for white fish, trout, and grayling more so

I know closer to edson by the embarrass it's good but I'm looking for north sections

I've floated from the ferry to white court Rockies walleye pike and the odd gold eye seems to be better for trout up from Edson

South of Highway 16 along Hwy 47 I have caught grayling and trout in the McLeod in the past. Troutmountain is right. Near Peers is more warm water fish like pike, walleye, goldeye. Upstream of Edson is more a cold water river for trout and grayling..

I've caught grayling and Rockies downstream of the ferry couple good runs and pike and walleye by the big island
