wade out to waste deep off of the beach at the point on the provincial park ,use a rubber tailed jig, cast out as far as you can and bottom hop it back ,no bait needed. best in early morning or late evening .

X2. Plus you can cast spoons if you wade out too. One suggestion... If you are in the water for a long time while be sure to rinse off with soap or hand disinfectant promptly. Twice over the years of wading shore fishing at Pigeon I got what was either hives or duck mite bites on my legs. If you have hip waders...even better.
