Headed up north for a few days. Looking for trophy pike and maybe some walleye for supper. I have been to wolf and love the campground and the fishing is good, Is siebert worth the extra hassle? I have tags for class c at wolf but wouldn't mind bigger walleye. Hows the campground at seibert?

The road itself is great, watch out for oil tankers, there's a ton of them on that road, some think they own it.

Siebert is certainly not dead. We caught a tonne of walleye last week (granted only a few were keepers) and managed several pike north of 10lbs.

I was there a few years back and never seen a pike all weekend. Did ok for walleye but you can catch walleye anywhere nowadays. Wolf is better in my opionion

Camp at wolf, hit em all. Decide which one you want to keep fishing the most. That's what u do

So just for we are all on the same page...

You were at siebert a few years back and you never caught pike so now siebert lake is dead? Wow....

Can you give me directions to lake X please?

Might be easier not to comment if you dont want people fishing at a certain lake, your intention seems pretty clear:thinking-006:

Looks like I'll be headed there this weekend can't make it to sask. We have tags to fill as long as we can get a spot room on boat if in need let me know

I would of course assume we all check the regs ourselves when we go out but just to clear this up:

Seibert Lake
June 1 to Mar. 31 – Walleye limit 1 over 50 cm; Pike limit 1 over 100 cm; Perch limit 15; Lake Whitefish limit 10; Burbot limit 10; Bait Ban
Apr. 1 to May 31 – CLOSED

I clearly need to read closer, thought we were still talking about Siebert...

Spencer Lake – Walleye limit 2 (between 40 cm and 45 cm); Pike limit 1 over 63 cm; Perch limit 15; Lake Whitefish limit 10; Burbot limit 10.
