So, I have a Jiffy model 30 with the 10" drill, but I now want an 8" assembly. I was hoping someone would sell the drill assemply that comes standard from the Stealth STX line, as I imagine these types of blades are very good (with the 5 cutting points and d icer coating).

I dont really want to get rid of the 10" just to get a completely new 8" auger as mine is only a few years old. I assume any jiffy brand drill assembly will fit any powerhead.

Any suggestions on where to get a smaller drill assembly or options for my model 30?

Thx

The XT has the same blades as on the model30 only difference is the dicer.

Serously throw i would'nt bother with the stx no real difference at all and the replacment blades are 3 times more expensive.

Right on. I have the 9 inch model 30 and have been wondering if ice armour was worth it. I have never noticed ice sticking to my blade.
