I think that the tribute to messeir was awsome tonight, there was a few people in the crowd that got a littel carried away and wasnt needed on this night but all in all what happened today to smitty it went well,,,ohh yeeaaa and one person forgot to be mentioned.

I think that it was the first time my kids saw their Dad with tears in his eyes. It's been an emotional day. Thank You Mark Messier for the memories.

Sirmike that was the funniest post I have seen in awhile.

I do not think Messier in the classic uniform, hoisting the cup was quite authentic enough. To complete the entire picture he should have been snorting a bag of cocaine, three hookers chasing him around the ice and cops waiting to issue him repeated DUI's as he left the ice. Ah....the good old days in the Chuck.

Does anyone else but me think Mess now looks like Nosferatu, the vampire? Those pointy ears, bald head, peircing eyes... LOL

Also, I could be wrong, but it seems like everytime there is a big "tribute" game of some sorts (like this, or the outdoor "classic" game) the Oilers tank it.
