I'd like to make a trip to Lower K to try for a bull trout this fall. What type of lures would you suggest? I will be fishing from shore. Thanks for the advice.

Bulls have good appetites for hardware. Casting from shore, a 4 inch countdown rapala in the brook or brown trout pattern could be good. Spoons and bigger spinners catch bulls too.

Size 3 virbrax spinner was good to me, rainbow or the bleeding patterns are pretty good

They're very aggressive and I'd recommend switching trebles on your lure to singles, you hook just as many fish and your hookup is much better. Plus it's easier to remove. Just my opinion, good luck!

I've had great luck with a 5 of Diamonds, I prefer the yellow/red over the yellow/black but both work great. I've probably caught a hundred so far this year alone. Rainbow also like them.
