Hi all,

We are looking at booking a salmon/halibut trip to PR for 2016. Without first hand knowledge of the outfitters it is tough to decide. We are looking for 3 days of angling and can't afford the higher end all-inclusives.

Have any of you ever used Foggy Point (seems to be both an outfitter and booking agent for other charters).

Any comments?

Thanks

GEt a hold of Dave Eng with Sunset Charters. You go out and stay on the boat. Very economical compared to the lodges. Fantastic guy and great fisherman. You will have a fricken BLAST with him.

Four of us went with Foggy Point in early June a couple years back for two days. We came home with our limit of halibut and coho. However Springs were in short supply. Crabbing was excellent both days. The boat was nice and well equiped. He has a diesel inboard so a bit slower than the other charters but allows for a bit of a break on the price. If I had to do it again I would use the same charter and just go a bit later in the season.
