Just bought a new rifle from SIR. Wondering how long it usually takes for them to get it registered and stuff? Anyone have any experiences?

Lately I've been waiting 5-10 days. Not bad from Miramichi, New Brunswick. You should have yours relatively quick.

my latest guns have been bought at P&D and Pipestone creek, and it was simply a phone call and walked out of the store in under 20 minutes. Unless a scope was being mounted.

Business transfers are usually instant.

Yup...business transfers are typically instant then you wait a week or so for your permanent registrastion card but you do get a temporary from the retailer at time of sale.

It took about 12 days in September to get my rifle from SIR. The interesting part is getting the transfer papers from the feds two weeks after you have the gun in your hands saying you can now take possesion of the gun.
