It took me 9 weeks to get back and change mem cards & batteries on my northern cams, as 2 feet of snow prevented other attempts. Thanks to sirmike for bringing his 800 Cc sled with 2" paddles. And it was still a journey.
We did manage this nice WT buck who walked by the cam on Nov 28th, and old north-south, the 3 point bull elk from earlier photos shows off his one antler up, and one down on Dec 14th.

Nice looking whitetail.... He'll be great next year.... if he's still around.

Nice critters, thanks for sharing.

Do your cameras really slow down in this real cold weather? I notice I don't get many pictures if its below -20.

What kind of Camera do you have? Also what kind of batteries do you use? I ask because my camera lasts one hour in anything colder than -10'C.

3 of the 4 units were still taking pics, pretty good for the temps we've had.
I don't think they are slowing down in these temps.
I use both Olympus and Sony cameras inside my trail cams.
The key is to use Energizer Lithium AA's in the camera and a good power supply for the motion board, lithiums AA's in the board too if you can.

Nice pics T,
I wonder if ole north-south has an awkward time of eating with that south antler? You would think so but he sure looks healthy.....

Thanks for the tips. I think I will try that.
