first lynx

Had a great day on the trapline. We were able to catch two martin ,two weasels, one squirrel, one fisher and a great catch on a good lynx. Have not had great luck on lynx the last few years, but have not triied as hard as we did this year. Hope to post some pictures.

With martin and fisher season ending , we pulled those sets. Seen a nice otter on the south end of the lake. We were also lucky enough to catch one more martin, and some squirrels. I had to leave early on saturday, but my trapping partner stayed with his family. Sunday morning, the checked the north part of the line , were we had some lynx sets and we had two more, so it has been a great year for us.
