Not Alberta, however I would highly recommend Gander and Sons from Vancouver.

Nice! Definately a mount worthy Striper! My buddy got his Marlin, same size, through Grays and it looks awesome! Took a while to get here, and kinda pricey..Looking to keep buisness local?

I just figured if it was done local it would save in shipping and insurance of a 8ft long mount :)

Some replicas look amazing whereas others do not!

Personally, wouldn't hesitate to blow up a nice picture, find a nice frame and hang it up. Pictures capture so much more. Facial expressions, feelings, what the clouds looked like on that day, the boat.....and a lot cheaper and less hassles.

Do not get it done down there! or in the US. Shipping will be the same price as the mount. One of the guys I went this year down there with is getting one done with that outfit that has the commerical on the jim Shockey shows. Not many out fits out here will do them.

I have been a few times and they go back in the water with a nice picture. He did catch a nice size to mount though, once they get bigger the price just sky rockets.

I have 2 replica mounts from advanced and they are both spectacular! I have a replica Salmon from a popular establishment from the west coast and it doesnt compare. They are not cheap however.

Talked to my buddy and his was 3000 delivered from Grays. My concern about using a local company is how much experience they have with big game fish. Definately a big investment! I gotta say his is very well done, even has a school cabalitos that it looks like he is chasing

My wifes Gramma got my Marlin Pic blown up and framed for a christmas present for me, and gotta say, seeing my ear to ear grin is definately a great reminder of a awesome day!! Lol

End result, Dad is really pleased. That is my 13 year old sitting next to the tail. What a great fish and mount. They sent along the hook and leader that caught the fish too, this is a replica the fish was released.

Grays in Florida. Thankfully he beat some exchange by putting a decent deposit down.

Not Alberta, however I would highly recommend Gander and Sons from Vancouver.

Rob and Rick Gander are very good friends of mine. Actually I can say they are more family than friends. Rob is my son's Godfather.

I have been steelhead fishing once in my lifetime and that was 23 years ago in Port Alberni, BC. I was so lucky to have caught a beautiful fish. The unfortunate part was my fish went missing from the guide's freezer. We had pictures but through years of the story I was told my fish although beautiful, it wasn't that big so I got over the loss of it. A couple years ago, my hubby asked the Gander boys to work their magic and from reproductions and their skills they took my photos and made my fish come back to life. The lie I was told my fish weight 14 lbs but in actuality it was 20 lbs. I was so surprised to have my fish now hanging on my wall for everyone to see.

here is the replica they did for me.
