It seems it's been a brutal year for sturgeon fishing. Whether that's the high temps and low flow i'm not sure but now that the temps have cooled and the level's up I was wondering if anyone has noticed more sturgeon activity on the SSR.

The first couple of weeks in September were good for sturgeon. They have slowed down with the water temp. dropping fast. I haven't targeted sturgeon ,the walleye have had the feed bag on. It's been getting better every weekend. Should be a fun long weekend.
Lots in the 27" 28" just haven't hit the 30".

a few weeks ago i was down there and the bite was fast for huge monster suckers which were great fun but the bite for sturgeon was kinda slow. i only managed one around 43" roughly 30-35lbs ish only to be beaten by one of my buddies 49" but about 7 or so was caught that weekend most on the smaller side.
